I was born in... 22nd of may 1978

In... Auckland, New Zealand

I now live in... London

I live here because... The city is exciting. It can be pretty and picturesque or dark and gothic, there's always something to do and it's full of challenges

I would most like to live in... New Zealand for three months a year and the rest between London, New York and LA.. Hey! why not!?

On a typical day you will find me... When working I'm racing all over London with my heavy case then applying make-up on beautiful and interesting people in weird and wonderful locations. On a day off...horizontal on the couch or eating in nice cafes around Muswell Hill and Crouch End... or at my local pub

I am surrounded by... taxidermy, tattoos as well as wonderful, caring and inspiring friends

My absolute hero is... Alex Box. One of my favourite make-up artists, she is inspirational and always pushing boundaries

My favourite colour is... black

The way I see things... is pretty simple... I try and do the right thing by other people and act without pretension. I like to keep my feet on the ground and head in the clouds.. dreaming is good for the soul

I only I could have more... Money!!!!

It's not cool but... I love 80s music

My toolkit has... got too big for me to carry properly. I do hair as well as make-up so carry around all that stuff might be the death of me one day.

I'm influenced by... popular culture, art, beer

I'm currently working on... I have just started to write about Beauty for an online magazine BLOGINITY - I could play with new products all day and I love reviewing the latest trends and techniques. Writing is something I would like to do more of in the future.

I took the leap when... I realised I was bending over backwards to make a success of another persons business with little reward or appreciation

What makes my work special is... that I love what I do and I'm nice when I do it

My biggest challenge has been... being able to talk about myself and what I do without feeling self-concious about it

The exciting thing about who I am working with now is... freelancing gives me the opportunity to meet lots of great people everyday, I learn something new every time I go to work

My greatest aspirations/ ambition are to... Live comfortably doing what I love... and a Vogue cover
